Main goal of project: achieve best immersive gameplay for FC1 with best diverse atmosphere, this means full revolution of FC1 at all. After years of work on project we got a lot of experience and have all abilities to make what we want in CE1. For those, who tired to wait the project. People still wait gta 6, and it's in development already about 10 years. Since we had no enough experience in past time, we worked exactly on getting this experience. Now, we have fully another level of knowledge in game-dev and have enough possibilities to make cool content. When you see modern mechanics in most games on today, this brings to mind: why we can't make same for Far Cry 1 or even better ? First of all, we doing this not only for ourselves. We doing this for all community so others could get greatest maps and content for FC1 on independent Return-Base. Return project doesn't means you will be able to do something only for "Return", this will allows to create owns stories and content. What FCR Project will brings to you ? New possibilities to create the virtual world on CE1. This possibilities will allows you to interact with new mechanics, graphics(this is not retexture, this is also new own shaders, full(?) fix of render including shadows and so on), possibility to add guns and characters with more amount of polygons, fast uploading and unloading content, flexible inside system of work with memory - multi threading - this will allows you to make giant maps with good performance.... So, to achieve this goals we need time, a lot of time. But this doesn't means we will do it another 10 years, this means we will focus on episode system part. 1st episode will include all needed startup for needed content for release, which will be named "substruction". Therefore, answering the next question, when will be the release, we can say: don't hurry. Quality is not quantity. We are not interested in primitive results with no multiplayer.  For now we are working on deep mechanics. So, when will be release ? I don't know, it depends from many factors. Maybe 2 years to wait, maybe 4. Can't tell exact. But exactly not 10 years (and not 9 or 8 :D) We guess it's about 3 years or less !
